Translation for
Insurers
A claim file is rarely one kind of document. A single overseas injury claim can contain hospital records, a police report, a court filing, receipts and a loss-of-earnings calculation – four specialisms and one decision date.
Split across suppliers that becomes four quotes, four turnarounds and four vocabularies. Handled as one project it becomes one price, one date and one consistent file.
WHAT INSURERS send us
- Medical records and clinical reports
- Police and accident reports
- Court filings and judgments
- Policy documents and correspondence
- Invoices, receipts and repair estimates
- Loss-of-earnings and employment evidence
- Witness statements
- Expert and engineering reports
- Death and probate documents
- Identity and residence documents
Something not on the list? Send it. The analysis is free and we will tell you honestly whether it is work we should be doing – which is more useful than a page claiming we cover everything.
THREE THINGS that matter more to you than to anyone else
One claim, one team, one glossary
The medical, legal and financial parts of a file go to linguists who work in each, but the file runs as a single project against one glossary – so a party, a policy term and a diagnosis are named the same way in every document an adjuster reads. That is the difference between evidence and a pile of translations.
Nothing is summarised, because a summary is an assessment
A translator who condenses a twelve-page record into the relevant bits has decided what is relevant, and that decision belongs to your adjuster or your solicitor. Documents are translated in full, including the parts that turn out not to matter. If you want a summary, that is a separate piece of work and we will say so.
Timed to the decision, not to us
Claims run to dates that carry consequences – a decision deadline, a limitation period, a court timetable. Tell us which one applies and you get a straight answer before you commit, including when a deadline is not achievable in that language pair.

HOW TO set this up
One-off work is ordered like anything else: send the file, approve the quote, get it back. Where the work is regular, an account removes the part you will get tired of.
Open a corporate account
Terms agreed once, priority handling, a named account manager, your terminology kept between jobs and one statement instead of an invoice per document.
Corporate accounts & partnerships →The subject, not just the language
Legal, medical, financial, technical and academic work each have rules the others do not. Projects are assigned on subject as well as language pair.
Industry translation services →What happens to the file
The same five stages every order goes through, and the three-stage quality assessment behind stage four. Nothing is skipped because a job is small.

QUESTIONS from insurers
Can one supplier really cover medical, legal and financial evidence?
Not one linguist – one project. Each part goes to somebody who works in that field, and the file is managed as a whole against a single glossary so the terminology is consistent across all of it.
Will you summarise long records for us?
Only as a separate, clearly labelled piece of work. The certified translation itself is complete and word for word, because deciding what matters is your job, not the translator’s.
Can the translation be used in proceedings?
Yes. It is issued dated on company letterhead with the translator named and signed and our contact details on it, and the declaration can be sworn before a solicitor or notarised where that is required – see sworn and notarised translation.
How is claimant data handled?
Under UK GDPR, on our own platform and dedicated document servers, seen only by the linguists assigned to the file. NDAs and data processing agreements signed on request.
Can we run a volume of claims on account?
Yes. A corporate account fixes the terms once, keeps a standing team on your files and puts everything on one statement with your own claim references against each item.
Send us something to quote
One document or a whole file. You will have an itemised written quote, a delivery date and a straight answer on what the receiving body actually needs – free, with no obligation, and handled confidentially under UK GDPR. We will sign your NDA first if you would rather.

WHEREVER your offices are
The whole service runs digitally, so where you are makes no difference to the work, the timing or the price. Send files, approve the quote, and the finished work comes back by email – with a wet-stamped hard copy posted to your address when one is needed.
