Translation for
Healthcare Providers

Patient records and clinical reports by medical linguists – handled under UK GDPR on our own platform, and timed to the appointment rather than to us.

Medical linguists, not whoever is free
Patient data on our platform, never emailed round
NDAs and data processing agreements signed first
Timed to the clinic date, with an honest answer first

BUILT ROUND how healthcare providers actually buy translation

A translated record is a clinical document: somebody will make a decision on it. That puts two demands on the supplier at once – the person doing the work has to understand what they are reading, and the way the file is handled has to satisfy your information governance team.

The clinical material is covered on the medical translation page. This one is about running it as a provider.

WHAT HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS send us

  • Discharge summaries and clinical letters
  • Patient records and case notes
  • Test results and imaging reports
  • Vaccination and immunisation histories
  • Consent forms and patient information
  • Medication lists and prescriptions
  • Referrals and second-opinion requests
  • Medico-legal and expert reports
  • Insurance and claims documentation
  • Policies, protocols and staff material

Something not on the list? Send it. The analysis is free and we will tell you honestly whether it is work we should be doing – which is more useful than a page claiming we cover everything.

THREE THINGS that matter more to you than to anyone else

Information governance answered before the first file

Files move and are held through our own platform and dedicated document servers rather than being emailed around a network of freelancers, are seen only by the linguists assigned, and are kept no longer than the work and your correction period require. We will sign your NDA and work from your data processing agreement – and we would rather do it before the first record than after.

Assigned on the specialty, not on availability

Cardiology, oncology, obstetrics and orthopaedics do not share a vocabulary, and a linguist reading their first cardiology letter on your deadline is a risk you do not need to take. Work is assigned on subject as well as language pair, and every linguist carries an internal quality rating built from completed work and proofreader feedback.

The date that matters is the clinic’s

Records are almost always needed for something with a date on it – an appointment, a referral, a panel, a tribunal. Tell us which and you get an honest answer before you commit. Standard is 24 to 72 hours and expedited delivers as fast as 24 hours, but a rare language pair takes what it takes and you should hear that at the outset.

QUESTIONS from healthcare providers

How is patient data handled?

Under UK GDPR, on our own platform and dedicated document servers, seen only by the linguists assigned to the job, and kept no longer than the work and your correction period require. NDAs and data processing agreements signed on request.

Who actually does the translation?

Linguists who work in medical text, assigned on the subject as well as the language pair, with a second native-speaking linguist checking the whole thing against the source.

Are drug names and dosages translated?

Names are carried across as written, with the international non-proprietary name given alongside where it helps, and never swapped for an assumed local equivalent. Units and values are reproduced as issued rather than converted, with a note where a reader could otherwise misread them.

Can you certify records for the Home Office or a tribunal?

Yes – issued dated on company letterhead with the translator named and signed and our contact details on it, and we guarantee acceptance.

Can we set this up as a standing arrangement?

Yes. A corporate account fixes the terms once, keeps the same linguists on your work and puts it on one statement rather than an invoice per record.

Send us something to quote

One document or a whole file. You will have an itemised written quote, a delivery date and a straight answer on what the receiving body actually needs – free, with no obligation, and handled confidentially under UK GDPR. We will sign your NDA first if you would rather.

WHEREVER your offices are

The whole service runs digitally, so where you are makes no difference to the work, the timing or the price. Send files, approve the quote, and the finished work comes back by email – with a wet-stamped hard copy posted to your address when one is needed.
