Translation for
Immigration Advisers
An application is refused or delayed for procedural reasons far more often than for substantive ones, and an inadequate translation is one of the cheapest of those reasons to avoid. Home Office guidance is explicit about what it wants, and it is not a long list.
We issue exactly that, on every document, every time – and we treat a client’s papers as one bundle rather than as a stack of unrelated orders.
WHAT IMMIGRATION ADVISERS send us
- Birth, marriage and death certificates
- Passports and identity documents
- Divorce and custody documents
- Police and criminal-record certificates
- Bank statements and financial evidence
- Employment and sponsor documents
- Qualifications and transcripts
- Medical and vaccination records
- Family registration and household records
- Court and notarial documents
Something not on the list? Send it. The analysis is free and we will tell you honestly whether it is work we should be doing – which is more useful than a page claiming we cover everything.
THREE THINGS that matter more to you than to anyone else
The bundle is the unit, not the document
A settlement or family application is a set of papers belonging to one household, and pricing them one at a time makes the cost impossible to quote to your client and the delivery impossible to plan. Send the set and it comes back as one job, one price and one date, translated by one team against one glossary.
One glossary per client, so the name never drifts
Across a bundle a name can be transliterated three defensible ways, a place name two, and a caseworker comparing two documents sees two people. We fix the spelling – normally the passport’s – at the start and hold it across every document in the file, flagging source inconsistencies to you rather than hiding them.
Issued in the form the guidance asks for, not approximately
A full translation, dated, with the full name and signature of the translator or an authorised official of the translation company and their contact details, on company letterhead with our wet stamp. That is the whole test, we meet it on every document, and we guarantee acceptance.

HOW TO set this up
One-off work is ordered like anything else: send the file, approve the quote, get it back. Where the work is regular, an account removes the part you will get tired of.
Open a corporate account
Terms agreed once, priority handling, a named account manager, your terminology kept between jobs and one statement instead of an invoice per document.
Corporate accounts & partnerships →The subject, not just the language
Legal, medical, financial, technical and academic work each have rules the others do not. Projects are assigned on subject as well as language pair.
Industry translation services →What happens to the file
The same five stages every order goes through, and the three-stage quality assessment behind stage four. Nothing is skipped because a job is small.

QUESTIONS from immigration advisers
Will the Home Office accept your translations?
Yes, and we guarantee acceptance. Every document is translated in full and issued dated on company letterhead, with the translator named and signed and verifiable contact details on it.
Can you turn a whole family bundle round quickly?
A standard bundle is normally back within 24 to 72 hours and expedited delivers as fast as 24 hours. Tell us the submission date when you send it and you will know before you pay whether it is achievable.
Our client’s documents spell their name differently.
Tell us which spelling the passport uses and we hold it across the bundle, noting the source spellings so the difference is visible to the caseworker rather than concealed. An unexplained mismatch is exactly what triggers a request for further evidence.
Do you handle documents in the rarer languages?
76 languages, including the ones that are hard to source at short notice. If a pair is genuinely going to take longer, we say so when you ask rather than when it is due.
Can we run this on account rather than paying per case?
Yes, and most advisers sending work weekly do. A corporate account fixes the rates and terms once, keeps the same linguists on your files and puts everything on one statement.
Send us something to quote
One document or a whole file. You will have an itemised written quote, a delivery date and a straight answer on what the receiving body actually needs – free, with no obligation, and handled confidentially under UK GDPR. We will sign your NDA first if you would rather.

WHEREVER your offices are
The whole service runs digitally, so where you are makes no difference to the work, the timing or the price. Send files, approve the quote, and the finished work comes back by email – with a wet-stamped hard copy posted to your address when one is needed.
